The big theatre musical that has to be brought up is Phantom of the Opera, one of the most fantastic musicals to ever be launched. This wonderful show is the longest ever running musical production in history and the most earning of all time. The musical production was created for the theatre by Andrew Lloyd Webber and details the tale of a scarred French Chap who falls in deep love with a chorus singer. Up next is the spectacular musical known as Cats. Again another well known theatre show and one that ran more or less 20 years until its last showing in late 2000. The musical show Cats was up for twelve Tony awards and won eight of them, including very best theatre show.
